Applications are fillable and can be submitted to us via email at: zoning@sangamonil.gov

• Affidavit of Demolition of Old Residence
• Affidavit of Use of Property/Structure
• Building 
  • Breakdown of projects in need of a building permit: 
    • Addition (sub-permits may be required): Adding onto an existing Structure. Examples: Rooms, Porch, Deck
    • Alteration (sub-permits may be required): Any structural change to an existing structure. Examples: Siding, Windows, Doors, Roofing, Interior Remodel
    • Foundation Only
    • New Construction (sub-permits may be required): Single-family homes, Apartments, Business Offices, Taverns, Communication Towers
    • Relocation of Mobile Home (sub-permits may be required)
    • Accessory Structures (sub-permits may be required): Garages, Sheds, Storage buildings, Car-ports, Barns
• Demolition 
  • Requirements: written verification of the disconnection of utility services (other requirements may be necessary before release of permit).
• Electrical
  • Examples: Generator Installation, Service upgrade, Electrical system installation for new construction projects
• Erosion Control
  •  Required for new construction of a structure
• Mechanical
  • Examples: Fireplace, HVAC system install, Furnace replacement
• Plumbing
  • For new system or system changes a diagram will be REQUIRED.
  • Examples: Installation of a plumbing system, repair to a plumbing system, water heater replacement
• Pool 
  • In-Ground & Above Ground
  • Swimming Pool Installation Requirements include Electrical application & positional diagram of the pool on the property (other sub-permits and requirements may be necessary).
