Finding and keeping a satisfying job is the goal of workforce training programs. Skills and training can increase your chances of career satisfaction and lead to gainful employment.
The Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance, housed at the Illinois workNet™ Center, will assist in exploring training options, provide expertise with your job search and employer outreach.
For Job Seekers
A variety of services are available which include: career counseling, weekly employment workshops, financial aid for education and training, personalized career plans, on-line job search assistance including Illinois Job Link and Internet job listings, resume development, referrals to community services and job referral. For Employers
Interview rooms, job seeker outreach and wage incentives for hiring eligible job seekers are some of the services available through direct hire or on-the-job training programs.
