Kevin began working for the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office part-time in August 2024 and recently transitioned to a full-time role as a Death Investigator II. In this position, his duties include conducting death investigations, collecting evidence, drawing toxicology samples, and performing case work and follow-up to assist the Forensic Pathologist and Coroner in determining cause and manner of death. Kevin is also responsible for the preservation of property and evidence inventories for the office.
Kevin has been a Sangamon County resident for many years and previously served as the Police Chief in Pleasant Plains for more than 19 years.
