Sangamon County Highway Department Announces CH 23 (Woodside Road) Reopening.
Pedigo Lane Closed and Parking Lot for Interurban Trail Closed
The Sangamon County Highway Department announces that while construction activities continue on County Highway 23 (Woodside Road) between Chatham Road and CH22 (Iron Bridge Road) the roadway for Woodside is now open for traffic. Pedigo Lane will be closed beginning Tuesday August 19 at 6:00am. The Interurban Tail will have a temporary bypass around the construction zone and the parking lot for the Interurban Trail will be closed.
Motorists and trail users are asked to use caution when traveling on Woodside Road and the Interurban Trail near the work zone. Questions should be directed to the Sangamon County Highway Department at 217-535-3070.
