Sangamon County Lifts Level 1 Winter Weather Emergency

Sangamon County has lifted the Level 1 Winter Weather Emergency, effective immediately. This declaration applies only to county highways.  

Motorists should continue to use caution, especially when driving over bridges and overpasses, which may remain slick even after conditions improve. Watch for snowplows and first responders, and give them plenty of space to work safely.
